Alvarez 最好的朋友去年 11 月去世，也就是 Kinnect 推出前六个月。

开始使用该应用程序后，系统会询问您的目标。例如，你可以说你想“捕捉生活教训”、“保存家族史”、“记住亲人”或“分享时刻”。您可以使用 Kinnect 选择适用于您目标的所有选项。

Kinnect 具有与您在 Facebook 或 Instagram 上看到的类似的主页供稿，因为它显示您的仅限受邀空间中的人员的更新，例如新评论或上传。

该应用程序还具有“故事书”功能，可让用户根据不同主题将记忆整理成数字相册。您可以存储家庭正在发生的故事中的章节，供当代或后代人在未来几年内重温。

如果家庭成员不确定要添加到家庭故事书中的内容，他们可以使用该应用程序的“引导讲故事”功能来接收可以回答的提示。例如，该应用程序可能会要求您谈论您当前的家以及是什么让您搬到那里。

阿尔瓦雷斯表示，虽然许多人想要捕捉自己的故事，但他们可能不确定从哪里开始，这就是该初创公司添加“引导讲故事”功能的原因。 Kinnect 计划在未来使用人工智能为群组中的每个家庭成员提供个性化的提示。

Kinnect 目前仅在 iOS 上可用，但该初创公司计划在未来几个月内推出 Android 应用程序。

虽然 Kinnect 的基本功能可以免费使用，但用户可以注册年度订阅，以解锁无限的故事书以及每个故事无限的照片、视频和音频上传。

个人订阅费用为每年 70 美元，家庭计划每年费用为 130 美元，最多可供 6 名家庭成员使用。

至于未来，阿尔瓦雷斯开玩笑说 Kinnect 希望超越数字世界，专注于面对面的联系。

“我们不想成为另一家只专注于数字解决方案的科技公司，”阿尔瓦雷斯说。 “我非常清楚拥有面对面的联系和归属感对心理健康的好处。我们也会考虑我们如何出现在现实世界中。”
